The first Silicon Valley Coral Farmers MarketSM coral show exceeded our best expectations. It seems that the Nor Cal Bay Area has been needing a medium sized coral show for awhile. The last Bay Area Coral Farmers MarketSM event had occurred in 2009. This first SV-CFM event occured on February 11th 2017. We had rented a half ballroom venue, since that was the same sized venue used in our previous events in the area. During this first SV-CFM event we reached max capacity around 4-5 times. The entrance had to be temporarily closed to new attendees at least four times. Aisles were 8 feet wide, but they were jam packed fully. We had a total paid attendee count that exceeded the highest count in any of our previous non speaker CFM events. Even those occurring in full ballrooms. Thanks to everyone in the region who attended.

The first Silicon Valley Coral Farmers MarketSM event occurred at the Sheraton Sunnyvale Hotel located at 1100 North Matilda Ave. in Sunnyvale California. We have located a larger venue for the next SV-CFM event. It will occur in a College Event Center located on the edge of the Silicon Valley. Ballroom space will be doubled and we have added a lounge and outside patio to help handle any crowd issues. Aisles will be 15 feet wide, which is near double the size of aisles in our first event. We have already lined up an exciting feature vendor. The Coral Farmers Market company and Reef Raft USA are fully committing to this region. We appreciate the support and will continue to expand and develop this event over time.
